Description

Een laserdiode, of LD, is een elektrisch gepompte halfgeleiderlaser waarin het actieve lasermedium wordt gevormd door een P-N-kruising van een halfgeleiderdiode vergelijkbaar met die gevonden in een lichtemitterende diode.
