Wheelchair uses a single actuator to get up a step

Addressing individual physical disabilities is what makes the wheelchair industry so challenging.
Everyone with a physical disability has their own different needs and so each wheelchair becomes a custom built device specifically for them. In this chair the system manages to stretch the limits by using only One actuator to allow this wheelchair to go up and down steps. Using as fewer Actuators as possible means the weight of the chair is reduced making it more maneuverable, and also reduces power consumption resulting in longer battery life and the ability to use a smaller battery that again reduces weight.
